We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our health care team, you will provide high-quality care to patients/clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a significant impact within regional communities. You will have opportunities to work within a range of settings at Wagga Wagga Health Service.

About the Role
  • Provide comprehensive social worker service across a range of clinical areas and settings.
  • Evaluate treatment according to patient/client goal achievement in collaboration with senior clinicians as appropriate.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.
Requirements
  • An in-depth understanding and ability to provide social worker services in a curious and empathetic way to families participating in the program.
  • Tertiary qualifications in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).
  • A high level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team.
