
Clinical Communication Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Communication Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our national team, you will provide clinical services to clients across various settings, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, and community settings.
Your role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored therapy plans to address the unique needs of each client. You will work closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes and promote personal growth and development.
The type of assessments and interventions you will provide may include:
- Communication Assessments
- Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments
- Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments
- Ongoing therapy

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology or a related field
- Registration or ability to become registered with SPA
- A car and licence
- A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to acquire one for client facing roles
