Regional Economic Development Specialist

Assist a project team in conducting research on the economic development of regional communities in Australia.
- Organize and participate in workshops, interviews, and surveys with community members.
- Conduct literature reviews, prepare scientific papers, and create project-related documentation.
This role involves collaborating with local communities, conducting research in regional locations, and working with world-class researchers to achieve positive outcomes for the Murray-Darling Basin region.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctoral degree in economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience in organizing community engagement activities, conducting interviews and surveys, and analyzing data.
- Strong writing skills, with experience in publishing research papers and reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
