General Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Aged Care professional to lead our multi-disciplinary team in providing exceptional clinical care to residents.

This is a unique opportunity to oversee the operations of a stunning, aged care residence and ensure excellent operational performance in line with industry standards and organisational objectives.

  • The General Manager will be responsible for leading a skilled Clinical Care Manager on-site and a team of experienced aged care Registered Nurses at all times.
  • Ensuring loyal residents receive an exceptional standard of clinical care is essential.
  • Reporting up to an approachable Executive Management team, enjoy support from external teams focused on quality, HR, and operations.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse DIV 1 qualification and current AHPRA registration.
  • Proven operational leadership skills and experience in aged care.
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desired).
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and ANACC requirements.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • A valid police check clearance.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
