Job Overview:

Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to lead our development team in designing and implementing high-quality, scalable features.

  • Lead the development of highly scalable features and capabilities in a cross-geo, distributed environment.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, product managers, and designers in an open and collaborative work environment.
  • Review code for best practices of readability, testing patterns, documentation, reliability, security, and performance considerations.
  • Mentor junior teammates through formal and informal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Ensure full visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performing backend services.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience building and developing backend applications.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a preference for a Computer Science degree.
  • Experience crafting and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful microservices.
  • Proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, Python, etc.
  • Fluency in database technologies like RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres) and/or NoSQL (DynamoDB, Cassandra).
  • Passion for collaboration and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud architecture patterns and engineering discipline to produce high-quality software.
