The successful candidate will develop and manage the pipeline of opportunities for the Civil Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the pipeline of opportunities for the Civil Infrastructure team;
  • Lead key opportunity pursuits including undertaking client meetings to develop a pursuit strategy;
  • Develop bid strategies that drive commercial success;
  • Build client relationships and identify opportunities while optimising commercial outcomes;
  • Provide oversight and support to the bid manager for all competitive bids ensuring commercial and technical excellence;
  • Guide and mentor the bid team to achieve sector goals and ensure high-quality bid submissions;
  • Collaborate with our National Growth team and other disciplines to manage the bid process efficiently and effectively;
  • Implement our growth strategy and identify opportunities for diversification;
  • Champion a client-focused entrepreneurial culture within the team;
  • Drive continuous improvement in all areas of work winning related to the Civil Infrastructure Team.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in designing and engineering Civil Infrastructure including Highways Structures Ports and Airports etc.
  • Established client relationships in Government and Contractor sectors;
  • A growth mindset passionate about developing and growing our business;
  • Experience and knowledge of the bid lifecycle;
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering successful bids;
  • Experience managing and delivering bids across large infrastructure environments desirable;
  • A strong understanding of project delivery informing tender pricing;
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills;
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders and presentation skills;
  • Experience working across boundaries including commercial management finance functions;
  • Able to prioritise meet demands handle multiple tasks set and meet deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
