About the Role

We're seeking an ambitious and results-driven Assistant Operations Manager to join our team at Vicinity Centres. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the centre to the highest standards, ensuring customer and retailer satisfaction, and supporting the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Manager in maintaining the centre to the agreed standards, ensuring customer and retailer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the centre, including managing contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining workplace health and safety.
  • Contribute to a culture that aspires to high performance, always delivers on commitments, and strives to exceed industry best practice.
  • Act as lead discipline in the absence of centre management on Sundays, taking on leadership roles to support site staff.
What We're Looking For
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role in a relevant operations field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building operations and legislation, including regulatory compliance, contractor management, and workplace health and safety.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to leverage relationships to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
  • A proactive, organised, and efficient approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to new challenges.
