Australia Real Estate Leader Role

This is a key position in the Australian real estate sector where you will lead and manage direct real estate transactions and asset management. You will be responsible for sourcing acquisitions, underwriting and evaluating the acquisition, negotiating agreements, coordinating due diligence processes, and overseeing closing.

As a leader in this role, you will drive the strategy and execution of Australian investment opportunities from a market perspective, supporting team members in conducting financial underwriting and commercial appraisal, structuring investments, transaction negotiations, and presenting to internal clients and investment committees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage direct real estate transactions and asset management
  • Develop and implement strategies for Australian investment opportunities
  • Support team members in conducting financial underwriting and commercial appraisal
  • Negotiate agreements and oversee closing
  • Represent the division in legal entity boards and APAC Real Estate Investment Committees

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the real estate sector, preferably from institutional asset management, investment banking, private equity, or real estate development
  • Demonstrable track record of sourcing and closing Australian real estate transactions across commercial and residential assets
  • Sound experience across both direct real estate transactions and asset management
  • Established relationships with investors to drive new business in direct real estate mandates for Australia
