Job Title: Vice President Fixed Income

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Fixed Income to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Global Markets division, you will be responsible for providing FX and Interest rate risk management solutions to corporate clients in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities (both public and private deals).
  • Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients and provide advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines in collaboration with the Global Markets teams.
  • Strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions.
  • Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials.
  • Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings.
  • Work in close partnership with the broader FIC desk in Sydney in building out the franchise.
  • Work collaboratively with other salespersons in the region and globally as well as other departments and partners.
  • Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of the different corporate clients and industry groups, leveraging market intelligence to provide feedback internally to improve capabilities of the platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering.
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets.
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with the Australian Corporate clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge on Fixed Income and Currencies products, particularly IRS/XCCY/FX/ FXO/ Structured Investment solutions.
  • Good knowledge on the usage of dealing platforms for credit FX and FI.
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Power Point and Excel.
