The role of Leader of Learning - Mathematics is a pivotal position in driving transformative change in learning and teaching mathematics across a school community. As a visionary leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the curriculum, assessment, and reporting for years 7-12, fostering innovative and inclusive learning practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective mathematics curricula, ensuring alignment with state and national standards.
  • Lead teacher professional development programs, promoting pedagogical excellence and collaborative practice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver targeted interventions, improving student outcomes in mathematics.
Requirements:
  • A four-year trained Teacher/Master of Education qualification (or approved as three-year trained due to significant prior experience).
  • Active NESA Accreditation.
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Post-graduate studies in Curriculum or Pedagogy desirable.
