Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • ">
  • Possesses the appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.">
  • Experience in teaching junior and HSC Mathematics including Extension.">
  • Dynamic and effective classroom practitioner.">
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and cater for a range of learning abilities and needs.">
  • Thorough understanding of the learning process, including the role of assessment and feedback.">
  • Understanding what 'best-practice' and 'next-practice' look like for Mathematics teaching.">
  • Experience in managing staff, encouraging, mentoring and supporting them to excellence and building a culture of ongoing improvement and responsiveness.">
  • Ability to share responsibilities associated with leadership from a whole school perspective.">
