Role Overview

With over 50 years of expertise nationwide, Extrastaff is a premier provider in placing both temporary and permanent personnel across various Healthcare establishments, including Aged Care facilities and Hospitals.

We are actively seeking multiple Cleaners and Laundry Attendants to support ON-CALL shifts for our clients in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide. Your role will be vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for both Residents and Patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Adhering to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  2. Preparing cleaning equipment and supplies
  3. Cleaning patient/resident rooms and bathrooms
  4. Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas
  5. Documenting cleaning activities
  6. Performing high-touch point cleaning and sanitization

As a Laundry Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Adhering to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  2. Managing and organizing linen in resident rooms and laundry facilities
  3. Handling linen according to infection control protocols
  4. Ensuring proper labeling and documentation of residents' items
  5. Monitoring and maintaining laundry equipment
Candidate Requirements

  1. Strong communication skills
  2. Minimum 6 months previous experience in Healthcare settings
  3. Current National Police Certificate for Healthcare work
  4. Current Working with Children Check
  5. COVID vaccinations (3 doses)
  6. FLU vaccination for 2024
  7. Flexibility to work ON-CALL morning and afternoon shifts
