Recipe Creator & Video Producer

We are seeking a talented Recipe Creator and Video Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, video production, and creating engaging content.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual who enjoys working on their own as well as in small teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and ideating recipe ideas, testing and developing new recipes, shooting, editing, and producing high-quality food/cooking videos for social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualise and ideate recipe ideas for branded campaigns.
  • Test, develop and write new recipes, keeping up with a fast-paced production schedule.
  • Shoot, edit, and produce food/cooking videos for social media pages within tight turnarounds and in line with our style and tone of voice.
  • Make creative, fun, and social-driven food videos that will drive engagement and shares across platforms.
  • Keep track of viral food trends, create content around them, and analyze the results of your work.
  • Operate studio equipment: DSLR cameras, tripods, lighting, monitors.
  • Safely store and backup footage.
  • Track costs and produce content within budget.
  • Make adjustments to content according to client feedback.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2-4 years of experience with video production and confidence with DSLR cameras, lighting, and editing.
  • Must have 1-2 years proven experience writing recipes, styling food, and creating compelling food content for the web or social media.
  • Examples of high-quality and successful self-published recipes on TikTok or Instagram.
  • Strong passion for food/cooking.
  • Competence using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier pro and Photoshop).
  • Ability to work on your own as well as in small teams.
  • Attention to detail, technical, organizational, and creative skills.
  • Experience in a deadline-driven environment and internet video.
  • A positive, curious, playful disposition.
