OverviewAs the Junior Recipe Developer, you will take our recipe offering to the next level by creating, testing, and refining delicious, high-performing meals for HelloFresh and EveryPlate.
You will be responsible for delivering recipes that balance flavor, cost, complexity, and customer satisfaction while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.This role is based in Chippendale, Sydney and reports to the Senior Recipe Development & Validation Manager.ResponsibilitiesCreate recipes that are delicious yet simpleTest, test, and test again in the luxurious HelloFresh Test KitchenUnderstand and work within business parameters (e.g. cost, seasonality of ingredients) to deliver recipes adhering to our product roadmapParticipate in recipe tastings by providing and collecting feedback on recipe flavour, composition, and methodsBecome an expert in our customer preferences and flavour profiles, and apply this knowledge when evaluating recipesTake on board the feedback received from our recipe testers and our customers and implement learnings for future recipesParticipate in creativity sessions to identify new concepts, recipe ideas and techniques for new and existing recipe developmentSupport the team with exciting culinary projectsQualifications1–2 years' experience in recipe development (meal kit, media, magazine, or test kitchen)A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a food-related fieldExceptional written skills for clear, concise recipe methodsStrong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Word and ExcelAbout youObsessed with food and excited to work with new ingredientsCreative and pragmatic in developing recipesProactive, ambitious, and assertive, taking ownership of your workOrganised, solutions-focused, and persistent in achieving resultsA strong team player who gives and receives feedback wellWhat you'll get in returnThe chance to have a significant impact in a leading global food technology companyFlexible working arrangementsEgoless environment, constant learning with room for personal growthFree access to HeadspaceHelloFresh Academies - internal learning & developmentA diverse and vibrant international environment, with offices in 18 countriesCompany discount - 70% off HelloFresh & 40% off YoufoodzStart Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice periodDuration: Permanent full time role.
