Mental Health Support Role

Assisting clients with mental health diagnoses and challenging behaviors requires a strong support network.

This role focuses on empowering client independence and choice in daily living supports or community access.

  • Provide daily living assistance to clients
  • Support clients with disabilities in day-to-day activities/tasks

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Certificate III in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Community Worker
  • Reliable vehicle, driver's license, and ability to travel with comprehensive car insurance
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Current National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Current Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Proof of rights to work in Australia
  • Genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance client lives
  • Reliable and responsible attitude towards work
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide person-centered approach empowering client independence and choice
  • Experience managing challenging behaviors and ensuring a safe environment
  • Flexibility to work hours meeting client needs
