Environmental Health Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about public health and safety. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting inspections, investigations, and providing expert advice on environmental health matters.
The role requires a high level of technical knowledge, including understanding of relevant legislation and regulations. You will also need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct scheduled inspections of licensed and registered premises
- Investigate complaints related to environmental health issues
- Provide expert advice on environmental health matters
- Develop and implement strategies to improve public health and safety
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Health) or equivalent qualifications
- Considerable experience as an Environmental Health Officer or similar position
- Excellent technical skills and expertise in interpreting relevant legislation and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week
- Competitive salary range $98,485 - $104,514 per annum
