Breakfast Chef Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our team at a stunning ocean-front hotel location.

The ideal candidate will have proficient knife skills and a passion for fresh food, as well as be self-motivated and enthusiastic to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

In addition to working in our unique French/Mediterranean hotel breakfast restaurant, you will also have the opportunity to work at our newly launched Lobby Bar & Rooftop Bar with a refurbished swimming pool and breathtaking ocean views.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and run the breakfast shift, including a full buffet breakfast and a live omelet station
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet Brand Standard guidelines and are maintained at that level
  • Stock control, food preparation and service with a strong focus on customer interaction
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire Kitchen Brigade to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
Requirements:
  • Must have full Australian working rights
  • Experience as a Breakfast Chef
  • Ability to cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks for quality improvement
