Job Description

At Manly Pacific, we are looking for an experienced, passionate Breakfast Chef with proficient knife skills and a passion for fresh food who is self-motivated and enthusiastic to join our team at the stunning ocean-front hotel location, the Manly Pacific.

Besides the room service, the unique French/Mediterranean hotel breakfast restaurant, you will have the opportunity to work at our newly launched Lobby Bar & Rooftop Bar with a refurbished swimming pool and breathtaking ocean views.

Our passionate team creatively crafts moments of indulgence for our customers, offering unique dining experiences through traditional techniques and the finest ingredients with a contemporary flair.

Qualifications
  • Must have full Australian working rights
  • Experience as a Breakfast Chef
  • Ability to oversee and run the breakfast shift, including a full buffet breakfast and a live omelet station
Main duties
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet Brand Standard guidelines and are maintained at that level
  • Involves stock control, food preparation and service with a strong focus on customer interaction
  • Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire Kitchen Brigade to meet Health & Safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
  • Cultivate a positive work environment where learning and personal development are benchmarks for quality improvement
