About Sulzer

Sulzer Australia stands as a global frontrunner in the repair of rotating machinery, specializing in electromechanical and pump services, retrofits, and repairs. We are currently in search of a dedicated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented Account Manager to fill a pivotal role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans for the designated territory, ensuring effective processes are in place to evaluate success.
  • Execute the Account Manager Plan while collaborating with fellow sales personnel to achieve annual financial targets.
  • Coordinate and oversee activities, including visit schedules, fostering a culture of ambitious goal attainment.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to the Head of Services Sales and Sales Excellence Business Partner regarding outstanding quotes to facilitate effective forecasting.
  • Generate and manage forecasts for Order Intake in alignment with the Sales Excellence Business Partner.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Centers and management to analyze work in progress, quoting, and order management, identifying opportunities for enhancement and jointly formulating plans to capitalize on these opportunities.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in Energy, Power, Oil & Gas, Mechanical, Pumps, Electric Service, or Turbine sectors.
  • A minimum of 5 years in sales or customer service roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Electrical or Mechanical products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Effective time management capabilities.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with others.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Capacity to quickly understand and interpret technical data.
