About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in VIC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth plans for the allocated territory, collaborating with other sales staff to achieve annual budgets, and ensuring the Head of Services Sales and Sales Excellence Business Partner receives prompt and accurate feedback on outstanding quotes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement growth plans for the VIC territory, including processes to measure success
  • Execute the Account Manager Plan and collaborate with other sales staff to achieve annual budgets
  • Coordinate and manage activities, including visit plans, to drive aggressive goal achievement
  • Ensure timely and accurate feedback on outstanding quotes to support effective forecasting
  • Produce and own forecasts for order intake, aligned with the Sales Excellence Business Partner
  • Work closely with Service Centers and management to identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to deliver on these opportunities
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Energy, Power, Oil & Gas, Large Electric Motor Service, or Turbine required
  • 5+ years' experience in sales/customer service roles
  • 5+ years' experience with Electrical/Mechanical products
  • Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office packages and CRM databases
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to engage and work with others, with a high level of time management
  • Travel required, with an estimated 30% of time spent on the road
  • Ability to quickly develop and interpret technical data
