Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial projects across Southeast Queensland.

The successful candidate will have a track record of managing complex builds, tight timelines, and high-profile clients. They will be responsible for full project delivery, from planning and programming through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a leadership role that requires strong skills in stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and be able to motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial projects from inception to practical completion.
  • Develop and maintain project programs, resource plans, and cost management strategies.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain client relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Oversee project controls, risk management, safety, and quality compliance.
  • Drive operational efficiency and implement best practice project management systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with a minimum of 3 years' experience managing projects over $10 million.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
