Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Repair Specialist to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on building repairs and rectification works.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential building and renovation, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in estimating, scheduling, and supervising trades and repairs. You will also have relevant trade qualifications and a current or expired builders license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on building repairs and rectification works
  • Review scopes of work, quotes, and specialist reports to ensure customer needs and business outcomes are balanced
  • Conduct quality activities and on-site audits of building repairs and rectification works
  • Support site inspections to ensure scope of works is adhered to and safe work practices are implemented
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification in a repair-related discipline (mandatory)
  • Current or expired builders license (mandatory)
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in residential building and renovation, estimating, scheduling, and supervising trades and repairs (mandatory)
