Job Description:**

This is a full-time or part-time position available until 30 June 2025, with hybrid flexible working options to balance work and life. As an Early Years Specialist, your primary focus will be on delivering tailored supports to families, leveraging evidence-informed best practices to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement comprehensive support plans, tailoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each family.
  • Conduct assessments and observations to inform support options, using expert knowledge of child development to drive positive change.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with families, caregivers, and professionals, empowering them with coaching skills to build confidence and self-efficacy.
  • Connect children and families with community resources, ensuring inclusive participation and equal access to opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and goals, utilizing the NDIA business system to track and evaluate outcomes.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan applications, implementation, and funding processes, providing expert support every step of the way.

Requirements:**

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Allied Health.
  • Demonstrated expertise in child development, with the ability to identify developmental issues and inform effective interventions.
  • A proven track record of supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including implementing strategies for home-based practice and other settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practices.
