Data-Driven Insights Expert

This is a highly sought after role within the NSW Government Organisation, where you will work closely with senior team members to drive business outcomes.
- Key responsibilities include contributing to the development of priority forecasts, performing and contributing to analysis to better understand customers and their water consumption, managing and maintaining data required for analytics and forecasting models at agreed levels of quality and integrity, communicating results from analyses to ensure easy uptake by non-specialists in other areas of the business, and maintaining expert knowledge in the field through technical scanning and professional development.
Selection criteria include:
- High-level skills in use of analytical software such as SPSS, R, Python or similar and/or high-level proficiency in geospatial packages.
- Demonstrated statistical analysis skills and/or geospatial analysis skills.
- Ability to develop and nurture business relationships.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability in providing business and information analysis services/skills to support business initiatives.
