Job Opportunity

The Head of Operations plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of an organisation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the governance and strategic direction as a member of the leadership team.
  • Action key finance duties to achieve financial targets.
  • Manage administration team members, activities, targets, and systems improvement.
  • Lead human resources actionables including recruitment/onboarding, KPI setting and performance management, development, and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Provide direction and support for proper office management/maintenance, key compliance duties, and overseeing special projects.

Requirements:
  • Possess a passion for driving change and contributing to child protection practices.
  • Take pleasure in breadth in their job and contribute diverse career skills.
  • Understand the value of administration and approach operations strategically.
  • Have superior knowledge and experience of operational functions and systems, industrial relations, and human resources best practices.
  • Familiar with executive leadership responsibilities and governance, seeking strong relationships with leaders.
  • Desire to learn, share knowledge, and support a team, leading from beneath.
  • Develop an understanding of primary prevention education and critical issues associated with sexual and family violence and child protection practices.
  • Hold experience in governance support, finance, office management, human resources, particularly in education consulting and/or non-profit organisations.
  • Require tertiary qualification/s in business management or over 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Hold a Current Working with Children Check and agree to undergo a police check.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with exemplary phone manner and time management.
