
Operational Support Administrator

Job Description:
The role of the Administrative Officer is a crucial part of the Joint Operations team, supporting the Director General Operations and Plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the J3 Executive Team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Synchronise Battle Rhythm calendar
- Manage J3 inbox (DPN and DSN)
- Provide personal administration support to the Director General
- Make finance payments and acquittals for J3
- Coordinate calendar scheduling (room bookings, invites, and confirmations)
- Support J3 Executive Admin inbox (DPN and DSN)
- Act as Objective Workgroup Coordinator (DPN and DSN)
- Manage J3 office administration, including stationary orders
- Maintain filing and structure (DPN and DSN)
- Ensure Information Management, including distribution of information within the branch
- Develop and implement Branch administrative procedures
Requirements:
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to complete tasks, plan, and coordinate business priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with exceptional time management skills
- Experience in providing secretariat support, coordinating briefing packs, writing minutes, and supporting coordination across the Command
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good judgement and ability to make sound decisions
- Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance
