Job Overview

The Principal Cybersecurity Engineer plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the security and resilience of systems, services, and critical resources. This individual will implement processes and technical safeguards to protect against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, complemented by relevant certifications and training.
  • 5+ years of information security experience, with a proven track record of successfully implementing security initiatives.
  • CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, and ISC2 CCSP certifications, demonstrating expertise in security principles and practices.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
  • Advanced knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, enabling the design and implementation of secure network architectures.
  • Intermediate knowledge of secure configuration management techniques, allowing for efficient and effective management of security controls.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex security problems, driving innovation and improvement in security processes.
