About The Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled technician to join our team as an Automatic Gate Service and Installation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing service, installation, and maintenance/repairs of our FADINI electro-mechanical/hydraulic product range and associated complex electronic control systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand and develop your skill base in a dynamic environment working with a leading brand in the market.
Your Key Responsibilities
• Perform service, installation, and maintenance/repairs of FADINI electro-mechanical/hydraulic product range and associated complex electronic control systems
• Complete service calls within budget, time, and to ACDC Motorized Solutions standards
• Fault find and diagnose systems, examine and test operators & associated equipment, instruments, and control systems to diagnose faults and evaluate solutions in a timely manner
• Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintain operators, equipment, and instruments, as well as advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunction
• Install/service electronic instruments and control systems
• Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic principles in commissioning and maintaining the automatic gate control systems
• Report to the Service/Operations Manager daily and complete paperwork as per company guidelines
• Understanding and applying the company's WHS requirements
Requirements
• Current driver's license
• White Card
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Pride in appearance & workmanship
• Outstanding fault-finding abilities
• Good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
• Electrical & Electronic Knowledge
• Welding skills – Preferred although not essential
• Certificate III qualification with minimum 2 years' experience within the automatic gate sector
What We Offer
A fully maintained company vehicle, necessary tools, mobile phone, safety equipment, and uniform are provided as well as ongoing training and development opportunities. Occasional overtime may be required. Salary is negotiable based on skill set & experience.
