The Opportunity
Make a Difference in Someone's Life
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and support? We are seeking a Cert III qualified Care Worker with at least 6 months experience in a similar role, to provide home help services to clients in the Canberra South area.
Job Description- Provide general housekeeping and personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting clients to take their medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, providing social and emotional support, providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments, helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
- Guaranteed or flexible hours and shifts in Canberra South area
- Award rate $33.82 - $42.28 per hour + Super + Paid KM's
