NCH is a 256-bed public hospital providing acute and sub-acute services, receiving around 55,000 presentations per year, supporting the ACT and south eastern New South Wales region.

Rotations available from ED include: ICU, Anaesthetics, Retrieval, NICU, HITH, Medical Education, Acute Medical Unit, Forensics, Sexual Health, Medical Administration, Trauma, Paediatrics.

We have a dedicated Fellowship Exam Education program, Simulation teaching, Wellbeing Program, Mentorship program, ED Research unit, protected nonclinical time, and Registrar Education Program.
