
Infrastructure Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and capital projects from concept to completion.
The RoleThis includes managing project scope, timeframes, quality and risk to ensure successful outcomes that align with organisational strategy and community service objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the scoping and planning of upgrades to existing property and new capital works
- Leading or contributing to the preparation of comprehensive project plans
- Ensuring that project and work activities meet relevant constraints including time, budget/cost, risk management and procurement policies
- Overseeing the submission and processing of relevant development and building approvals
- Operating and implementing coordinated work programs for sites and negotiating with all relevant parties involved in project work
- Coordinating the commissioning of projects, including the development of relevant FFE schedule in conjunction with the procurement department and the procurement and delivery of plant and equipment
- Coordinating the Project Control Group and facilitating effective stakeholder reporting; Monitoring the raising of purchase requisitions, reviewing and approving progress claims and invoices within delegated limits
- Preparing project status, performance, financial administrative and operational reports, including project expenditure against budget
- Proactively identifying, analysing and resolving project-related issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Extensive experience across all phases of the acquisition, design, approvals, tendering, construction and commissioning of building projects
- Proven success meeting key time, quality and budget performance indicators
- An in-depth understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to prioritise key tasks and outcomes
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and awareness, including consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict management and assertiveness
A successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality project outcomes and will be well-equipped to navigate complex project environments.
