The Planning Manager Airports will lead operational, transformational, and strategic resource planning services across customer service departments. This role requires identifying and implementing resourcing efficiencies, managing costs within forecast, resource planning and budgeting, and meeting group KPIs.

This leader will provide insights and influence needed to drive ongoing optimisation of rostering and resource deployment, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with employment agreements. Reporting to the regional Head of Airports, this role will lead strategic planning for the region and hold a strategic portfolio. Additionally, they will lead national Airports programs related to workforce utilisation, planning, and effectiveness of the region.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include significant experience in a strategic workforce planning position or similar, previous experience leading through peer and matrix relationships, experience managing a large cohort, strong business partnering skills, and the ability to think 'big picture'. A determination to succeed, a track record of achieving targets, and working knowledge of industrial relations practice and human resources policies and procedures are also essential.
