Job Summary

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking an experienced HRIS Audit and Administrator.

This full-time, permanent role involves ensuring the alignment of HRIS design and operation with legislation and industrial agreements.

The successful candidate will have expertise in auditing data integrity and system accuracy through regular testing, as well as recommending improvements to payroll and HR practices.

Key responsibilities include educating teams on audit findings and system usage, providing payroll reporting, and maintaining organisational structure and workflows in Aurion.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to document processes, guidelines, and user manuals for system administration, monitor system changes, and support process adjustments.

They must also be able to build reporting capability across payroll and HR teams, maintain an issues register for HRIS-related updates, and analyse complex HR/payroll systems for performance and compliance.

Finally, the successful candidate will provide support during peak periods or staff absences.

About You

Experienced in HRIS administration (Aurion preferred) and payroll compliance.

Skilled in data analysis, reporting tools, and advanced Excel functions.

Detail-oriented with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a team.

Quick to learn new technologies and integrate them effectively.

Values-driven, collaborative, and adaptable in dynamic environments.
