Payroll Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage our payroll operations at a leading law firm in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process fortnightly pays for approximately 500 staff members with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax calculations in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Administer third-party deductions and terminations/redundancies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Calculate and process purchased annual leave entitlements in a timely manner.
- Prepare month-end and year-end reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Process new starter applications and onboard employees effectively.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll project implementations and maintain strong working relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior payroll capacity with a proven track record of success.
- Desirable: legal or professional services experience, HR3 certification, excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, and expertise in Award interpretation.
