Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to support our design and permitting processes. This role involves integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data into CAD workflows, with a primary focus on permitting tasks.

This position requires strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and spatial analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in CAD designing and be proficient in utilizing GIS software to integrate spatial data into designs.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to produce high-quality designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage plans and profiles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for designing topography, drainage systems, roadways, grading, and elevation models (plans and profiles).
  • Perform GIS-related tasks, including mapping, spatial analysis, and data integration.
  • Coordinate and process permitting applications, ensuring efficiency and adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Knowledge in GIS (Geometric Information Systems)
  • At least 2 years' CAD designing experience.
  • Ability to work with GIS software to integrate spatial data into CAD designs.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
