CAD Designer Position Summary:

This role is focused on integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data into Civil CAD designs to support design and permitting processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and managing plans and profiles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for designing topography, drainage systems, roadways, grading, and elevation models (plans and profiles).
  • Performing GIS-related tasks, including mapping, spatial analysis, and data integration.
  • Coordinating and processing permitting applications, ensuring efficiency and adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to produce high-quality designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Knowledge in GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
  • At least 2 years' experience in CAD designing.
  • Ability to work with GIS software to integrate spatial data into CAD designs.
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
