About the Position

This role will provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team in an Inpatient Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality mental health care is provided in a coordinated and efficient manner by a capable workforce.

  • Provide leadership and accountability for the day-to-day activity of a clinical team within Forensic and Secure Services.
  • Possess well-developed clinical knowledge and skills in forensic mental health care and contemporary service delivery.
  • Aware of organisational goals and contribute to their implementation.
  • Demonstrate ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and clients through active participation in teamwork.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Vaccinated against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
  • Appointment requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate authority within Australia.
