Sustainable Food Systems Researcher

The Centre of Excellence in Healthy Food and Environment is a multidisciplinary collaboration between 6 leading universities and their partners. Our goal is to develop solutions for a sustainable food supply chain in Australia and globally.
We will assess dietary patterns and the environmental impact of foods at The George Institute for Global Health and Deakin University, respectively. This information will be used to create models that estimate the effects of changes in food systems and population diets on health outcomes, environmental outcomes, and economic outcomes.
Our focus will be on the global packaged food supply, with a particular emphasis on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
