Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Onsite Specialist to provide 2nd level onsite support for hardware and software issues. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in OS, Apps, and H/W installation and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals
  • To manage ticket logging tools and handle tickets efficiently
  • To design and implement Enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts
  • To lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs
  • To provide desk-side support and PC break/fix including Windows O/S administration
  • To ensure smooth functioning of Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software
  • To possess knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP

Skillful in smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, and multi-port data termination panels.

Requirements:
  • At least 18 months of experience in IT (or equivalent)
  • Able to build strong relationships with customers
  • Hands-on experience with OS, Apps, and H/W installation and troubleshooting
  • Mobile Devices and Networking knowledge
  • Software and OS deployment using SCCM or other technologies

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals
  • Ticket logging tools and ticket handling process
  • Enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts
  • Lifting and moving computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs
  • Desk-side support and PC break/fix including Windows O/S administration
  • Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software experience
  • TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP knowledge
