About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Support Officer to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality aged care services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Clinical Activities: Support quality and clinical activities within designated residential aged care homes, ensuring that services meet identified needs and standards of quality care.
  • Quality Audits and Compliance: Assist in site-specific quality audits and work with the Service Managers to develop, implement, and evaluate continuous improvement processes to facilitate ongoing quality compliance.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Assist with the collection of site-specific NQIP data collection and submission as directed.
  • Incident Reporting and Resolution: Assist the Residential Service Manager and Quality Compliance & Innovation Partner (QCIP) with incident reporting, participate in investigations, and the timely resolution of complaints as appropriate.
  • Complex Care Management: Support complex care management and case conferencing as needed.
  • ACQSC Readiness: Support ACQSC readiness, including unannounced folders, and supporting documentation.
  • Committee and Research Participation: Participate in, and contribute to relevant organisation-wide committees, working parties, and research activities as requested to progress innovation that will support effective and efficient quality service delivery in line with best practice.
Requirements
  • Registration and Experience: Hold and maintain valid registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA) and minimum of five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Probity Checks: All BlueCare staff must satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or BlueCare policies.
  • Service Delivery and Quality Systems: Demonstrated broad experience in service delivery and quality systems in either the aged, community care, or health sectors.
