About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Support Officer to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a key member of our care services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Clinical Activities: Support quality and clinical activities within designated residential aged care homes, ensuring the provision of high-quality care consistent with our organization's values.
  • Service Delivery: Assist in ensuring services meet identified needs and standards of quality care, including compliance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission - Quality Standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support site-specific quality audits and work with Service Managers to develop, implement, and evaluate continuous improvement processes to facilitate ongoing quality compliance.
  • Incident Reporting: Assist with incident reporting, participate in investigations, and the timely resolution of complaints as appropriate.
  • Complex Care Management: Support complex care management and case conferencing as needed.
  • ACQSC Readiness: Support ACQSC readiness, including unannounced folders, and supporting documentation.
  • Organizational Committees: Participate in, and contribute to, relevant organization-wide committees, working parties, and research activities as requested to progress innovation that supports effective and efficient quality service delivery in line with best practice.
Requirements
  • Registration: Hold and maintain valid registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Probity Checks: All BlueCare staff must satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or BlueCare policies.
  • Service Delivery Experience: Demonstrated broad experience in service delivery and quality systems in either the aged, community care, or health sectors.
