Expert Tax Advisor Role

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality corporate tax services. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to work with a range of clients, including ASX listed companies and multinational corporations.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on corporate tax matters, including M&A, consolidations, restructures, financing, and compliance obligations. You will also assist in the delivery of full-spectrum corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs.

  • Deliver corporate income tax compliance services for allocated clients, including preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
  • Assist in the delivery of corporate taxation advisory services, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams to bring expertise to clients and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise junior team members, fostering their learning and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance and collaboration.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Australian corporate income tax experience, preferably gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business environment.
  • Strong client-facing skills and the ability to articulate complex technical information.
  • An understanding of taxation laws and regulations, including knowledge of M&A, consolidations, and restructures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
