We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth across multiple departments.

About the Role:

  • Lead high-performing teams to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations through effective management of store operations, including food safety, safety, and merchandising standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve sales performance, increase customer loyalty, and enhance overall store experience.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and respect among team members, promoting open communication and feedback.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and develop large teams to deliver excellent results, recognizing individual strengths and areas for growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in retail operations management, with a strong background in leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
