Job Opportunity: Out of School Hours Care Educator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a secure and nurturing environment for school-aged children attending the out of school hours care program.
  • Assist in planning and implementing engaging activities for children, including sports, arts and crafts, and educational games.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to coordinate daily activities and ensure a smooth and organized program.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures, including emergency evacuation plans.
  • Contribute to the management of program resources, including supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with school-aged children in a similar setting is preferred.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working with Vulnerable Peoples (WwVP) clearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
