Senior OSHC Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to manage our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education or a related field;
  • Extensive skills, knowledge, and experience in OSHC, including demonstrated use of the My Time, Our Place framework and The Early Years Learning Framework;
  • Current first aid certificate in an education and care setting;
  • Able to contribute to the development of OSHC policies and procedures;
  • Highly effective interpersonal, leadership, and people management skills;

You will work collaboratively with the management team to ensure a high-quality service that complies with all regulatory and legislative requirements. This role involves working with children and young people, so you must have a commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing employees at the service, including performance management and professional development;
  • Leading recruitment activities for the service;
  • Responsible for contract variations for employees at the service;
  • Assuming the position of Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader under the Children's Education and Care National Law;
  • Listing on PRODA as a person in day-to-day charge, as per ACECQA requirements;
  • Collating documentation required for reporting to CECA and sending it to the Manager;
  • Maximising financial resources, monitoring program budget, and developing weekly staffing rosters;
  • Managing the replacement of team members due to absence, in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
