We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team at SA Health, providing specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to delivering best practice healthcare for women, babies, children and young people in South Australia.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing assessment, education, counselling, and group work to support consumers and their families;
  • Working collaboratively with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organizations;
  • Using clinical knowledge, skills, and experience to provide direction, support, orientation, and education to other staff members;
  • Liaising with other professionals to ensure optimal consumer care and achieve the best possible health and recovery outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant degree/registration/qualification for your discipline;
  • Extensive clinical experience in treating and managing complex child and adolescent mental health issues;
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions of a complex nature;
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with individuals and families.
