About the Role

This full-time position involves working in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Port Augusta. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families, addressing mental health issues.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal consumer care, focusing on achieving the best possible health and recovery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assessing and managing complex child and adolescent mental health issues
  2. Providing education, counselling, and group work as essential components of care
  3. Collaborating with other disciplines and non-governmental organizations to support consumer care
  4. Leading and participating in quality improvement activities and policy development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A relevant degree or qualification for your discipline
  2. Extensive clinical experience in treating and managing complex child and adolescent mental health issues
  3. Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
