Project Coordinator Role

This position is a key part of our team, responsible for coordinating the Power Project within the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the project, working closely with managers, supervisors, lineworkers and clients to achieve goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have prior experience in a program coordinator or related role.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment between the schedule, project scope and key milestones.
  • Implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to track project performance and provide regular updates on progress and performance metrics.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, as well as manage and document changes.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial plans with the project team.
  • Support preparation of financial reports, monthly project reviews, and audits.
  • Drive financial accountability and performance throughout the business.
  • Attend project meetings to support financial planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, margin results and the contract/project actual performance compared to budget/forecast plans.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Provide insightful commentary and recommendations for financial and operational improvements.

  • You are proficient in MS Office suite of apps and have used SAP.
