The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading practice in strategic planning initiatives that support the growth and sustainability of our city.
  • Providing strategic and operational advice to Council and Executive Management.
  • Collaborating as a member of the Senior Leadership Team focused on enhancing organisational outcomes.
  • Developing external networks and representing Council as a regional leader.
  • Leading a high-performance culture aligned to the values of the organisation.
  • Applying sound management of financial and budgetary compliance and governance responsibilities.
  • Championing and driving organisational change and reform.
