We are seeking a seasoned nursing professional to fill the role of Clinical Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate their team.
Job Summary:The Clinical Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational management, with a focus on quality and patient safety, staff development and providing support to staff while ensuring a high standard of clinical practice is maintained.
Duties and Responsibilities:The successful candidate will manage all human and material resources efficiently and effectively, provide clinical leadership and support to their team and work with other managers within the hospital community to achieve excellence in patient outcomes. They will also assist in shaping organisational strategy and improving procedural service provision. In addition, they will provide clinical support and care to patients on the ward.
About You:To succeed in this role, you will bring strong clinical leadership skills, exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team. You will be a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow, while bringing a strong commitment to outstanding patient care and service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Relevant registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in acute or rehabilitation nursing.
- Effective management of rostering processes and allocation of duties.
- Post-graduate studies in an appropriate specialty or management qualifications highly regarded.
- Commitment to improvement and excellence in delivery of outcomes.
- WHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation.
- Ongoing activity analysis.
- Ability to effectively manage resources and implement sustainable change.
